Will this tool work with plastic rivets used in securing vehicle fender molding?

Is this item supposed to cone with the tip tool? I had to order mine and it did not come with the wrench to change the tips.

Would these be useable to rivet my cars fenders?
No
Special rivets are used for auto body work. While you might be able to use this tool and rivets for it, there is a strong chance the rivets won't hold or will pull through with use. Auto body rivets and tools are available from several sites and are not expensive. I would choose the correct tool and rivet rather than use this.

How do you use this?
You pre-drill a hole in whatever two items you wish to attach together. Then, you secure a matching size pop rivet into the tool and pump the handles (like you would with pliers) once or twice, and the rivet expands and secures the two items together. What you are left with is the pop rivet mandril that you can toss away. This is a good tool for this sort of thing, attaching gutter downspouts, metal, plastic, etc. Watch a couple of YouTube videos to get a better idea on what this tool does.
