This can work, but I would suggest a few falcons spread out throughout the space.

Will a Falcon Decoy repel or attract a large Peregrine Falcon?. He's taking stock of my pets. This morning the bird perched 10 feet above Fat Mike( a feline).
Asked by: Throwsstickatspiritbird
No, the Falcon Decoy will not work on a falcon. The falcon is a predator and they will not be deterred by it. Predator birds are best deterred by physical deterrents.

How could I mount this on a slanted roof?

Asked by: ED
Hi Ed, it does not come ready to be mounted so you may have to get creative. I suggest holding it down with a bungee cord or perhaps hang it from the roof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Works At first I was skeptical knowing that birds for the most part aren't stupid. I figured that after a couple days they would realize it was a decoy. Surprise, the birds won't show themselves in my neighborhood for a long time to come. Nothing against the birds, I'm just tired of the destruction they do to the vehicles. You can think of the decoy as a water saver, if that is one way of looking at it. The Falcon works better than the owl, by the way. The Falcons hunt during the day, while the owls hunt at night. Most birds are asleep by five in the afternoon anyway. Great product and affordable too. I will probably buy a second one and give it to a relative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really works! I "had....., a late night and early morning annoying Mockingbird outside my window in the summer heat of the night keeping me from sleep because his singing non-stop and loud for hours on end! A quick research on the net quickly gave me a few ideals how best to deal with this persistent problem. The best humane way was to try this "FALCON PREDATOR DECOY". A few weeks went by before I saw any results I could be sure of because my thought was that this Mockingbird probably was visiting another neighborhood. Sure enough, after 2 1/2 weeks of displaying the falcon on a pedestal and rotating the falcon it work! Now I can have my window open and not be awaken in the middle of the night!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scare the birds The falcon seems to have the starlings worndering to some degree. They are not going into the open holes into them that the flickers punched out the screens. They did not go too near the falcons but I had them on the deck and did not bother them that way so drilled a hole in the top of the head then ran a heavy wire to run it all the way thru then curled the wire in a few loops. This made a round knot so would not go thru the head hole then cut the wire off with enough left to make a hook shape to put it into the lip of the gutter in front of the holes the starlings were going into and they won't go near the hole now. It might help that a breeze is moving the falcons back and forth like they are on a branch of a tree and it is swaying. This seems to have helped but time will tell if it will last .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept robins from nest building on my outdoor light fixtures.... Kept robins from nest building on my outdoor light fixtures. Very satisfied. Comes Autumn, I'll move it to my back deck to hopefully deter the crazy male robin that attacks my windows because he sees his reflection there at that time of the year. Good price, good construction and looks good in the garden.
