    Q:Where is the dip switch? And is there a diagram to show where the switch to change directions is? I moved into a place with one of these and I'm short and can't see the top and can't get the remote to work.

    A:  Thank you for your question. The dip switches are located in the top of the fan on the receiver and in the back battery compartment of the remote control. Also for reference the manual with diagrams is on the home depot website where you asked the question under product detail tab under use and care manual.

      A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, the fan is also available without the Bond hub. Model #26655 does not include the Bond hub and does not have any smart features. The fan is currently out of stock, but if you would like to be notified when it becomes available, please enter your email address in the "Notify Me" box on the product page online.

        A:  Thank you for your question. The QR code is not needed if using the Bond Hub. You can see how the remote is paired with the hub by watching the video located with the alternate images for the Bond Hub on the Bond hub product page online (model # BD-1000).           surprised how nice it is
          went up easily and no shaking. lots of wind movement. and looks decent. the Bond app to control it is crap, but that's not the fan's fault.

            good buy
            I purchased this item on sale. The installation was not easy, it took us over 1 hr to install. The fan is very heavy. We used the installation app which really helped us however the app missed out in two important steps, It missed out on putting the round metal cover over the fan before placing it in the ceiling and to cut back on the electrical wires, they are too long and does not fit when installing the fan to the ceiling. It was alot of work but the fan is quiet, keeps the room cooler and the light is bright enough for the dining area. Im using Alexa to operate it, the bond app or the remote control and it works great, I didn’t give it 5 stars because the installation was not easy. If you are considering paying for installation, I recommend it.

              Working great for all RF remote controls
              IR remote devices need a direct view, most of the devices comes with IR remote. So I’m not completely satisfied. Only good thing is all my ceiling fans work with Rf remote control. So I’m able to control the fans with Google and Alexa. And it works great with shades too. Very easy too setup

                DO NOT buy Garbage
                This fan is garbage, literally. Please see the fan in my garbage. We bought the fan brand new from Home Depot and it stop working after 11 months. I tried to call the manufacturer and they referred me to Home Depot. I kept getting the run and around and finally decided to take the lost. Completely unacceptable for a fan less than a year to break but I guess that’s what you get when you buy something made in china. This is a honest review do not buy. It’s a piece of crap!!!

                  Fan Died After Warranty Expired
                  This fan is nice, it has decent air flow, it is an attention grabber, but it only lasted 2 and a half years in a room that it was barely used in. It had problems from day one, it would take forever for it to finally decide which way it was going to rotate, and switching it to rotate in the opposite direction was a headache to say the least requiring you to stand at the switch to cycle the power to reset it. to me, it is not worth what is being asked considering it only lasted 2 and a half years. Very disappointed and will not buy another home decorators product.

                    Only worked 2 weeks
                    I LOVED this fan! We had it professionally installed. After 3 days the light stopped working. 2 weeks later, the fan stopped working also. We had to hire an electrician to come back out to take it down to return. We got a full refund but the installation and takedown have been expensive.
