There is no warranty information for the manufacturer in or on the packaging so I'm assuming it's the standard 30 days offered by Home Depot??? For the price they seem to function adequately. I would buy them again without hesitation.
I think it will cut that. You need to be careful though, as it will not give you a "finished" cut when the blade comes through. It is a threaded lead, so it will pull through. If you can, you should drill through the fiberglassed side first.
I see no reason why they wouldn't. I look forward to trying it myself. It will either work or break your wrist. These are very aggressive bits that should work well with a good impact driver.

They are steel.Of course they will rust if exposed to air with a high moisture content, such as in a garage or shed. Of course depending upon where you live, Phoenix - probably not, Houston - most likely!
no bits ~ 6" long will fit impact drivers too
The picture shows a 1/4 bit, but the description says it comes with a 6" extension NOT a 1/4 bit. The question remains unanswered. Can someone help?
No, all type paddle bits, are designed for wood or other soft materials, such as vinyl. For metal studs, either a hole saw or a "Unibit" will work best.
These bits are fast. If you can guage the thickness carefully, then I'd say yes. You'll need to reverse the drill to back out the screw tip. I'd recommend a forstner bit to dill partial holes in wood.
