Build-A-Rig Hammer Sleeve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new take on how to keep a hammer on a tool rig! When I'm using a smaller rig, or single pouch I always struggle to find a good solution to keep a hammer on me, and this was a great solution!! Plus I can easily take it off if not needed, since it's a modular item.

Firm Grip Hammer Holder. You can slip your work belt through it to hold your hammer. Especially if you are working alone. The holder comfortably holds the hammer in a secure manner. Good sturdy material. Add it as a piece to your work belt. This is just one piece of material that the belt will help support. Black in color and canvas material. Especially if you are working off the ground on a ladder.

The hammer sleeve is great. It holds your hammer securely and conveniently at your finger tips. No more kicking my hammer out of its holder climbing ladders or having it catch on things and getting kicked out its holder. You can conveniently use it on the left or right side of your tool belt. It is great for All types of hammers. I highly recommend it!

Received a new hammer sleeve for tool belt rig. Made of good quality ballistic cloth, and is well padded for stability and impacts. It was unfortunately made to be used with another belt attachment. but, with the available Velcro support it works with the belt by itself. First use was while up on a ladder and the sleeve was much more stable than if I used a regular hammer attachment

This is an easy product to use. First it is easy to get hammer in and out. It fits all belts. . Second This product can also be used if you have several different size hammers and it will also fit on either side of belt. I never realize this product will even available until it was shown on Home Depots seed program. I have shown this product to neighbors and they were impressed by it

This light weight hammer sleeve is something quick and easy to add to any tool belt or chest harness which will allow you to adjust how your carrying your hammer if you need to during them pesky jobs where your working in tight areas. Because its a softer material it allows wiggle room to move around to reduce getting caught on things. The Velcro is also secured tightly to the product. I have been able to set everything from a basic Claw Hammer to Dead-blow hammer with out any issues or it falling through the hole.

I was fed up with constantly getting wacked in the leg by my hammer handle when it was hanging from the typical tool belt hoop. After giving this a try, I'm never going back! It's nice that it's ambidextrous and can be installed on either side of the tool belt. I would appreciate better instructions. Ikea style pictographs are great and all but a few words would go a long way.

As far as its use, this product does hold a hammer and I will use it when a hammer is my only tool (not often). I thought I was getting a multi functional tool holder which it is not. I do like the ability to use on the left or right side is indicated on the pouch. It is very sturdy and durable and is long enough to hold a hammer securely. It serves its purpose very well.

Works well. I like the design. It does not work well with my leather tool belt. It has given me the desire to purchase a nylon belt. I like the durability and that it is lightweight. It does not get dirty easy and protects my tools well. I recommend this product, although I would not put it with a leather belt. The Velcro straps are strong and was able to adequately support an eighteen ounce hammer.
