    I’ve only had the machine for a short period of time and it is making weird noises. The blade has to be changed quite often and it doesn’t cut as great as needed. I have to go over the same area at least twice.

    Don't buy to cut wood, it won't work for that applicaton
    I wanted to cut thin veneer which was ink stamped with patterns, I tried several passes both firmly and gently and the knife just burned the wood and would not cut thru even after many passes. Tried with several hardwood veneers approx 2-3mm thick.
