Eliminate moth infestations in food storage areas such as pantries or storage areas for pet food or birdseed with Pantry Pest Traps. Adhesive trap targets common flour and grain moths by utilizing a professional strength lure. Targets Indian Meal, Mediterranean Flour, Raisin and Tobacco Moths common to areas where cereal, pasta, dry pet food, grain and grain based products, dried fruit, chocolate, nuts and spices are stored.

            A:  I am not sure how long they last. One of the ones that we put up has lasted about 8 months so far. Not very many pests in trap. If you have quite a few pests you would want to replace with new trap.

            A:  It depends on how infested you place is. You can check the traps regularly to see if they should be changed or not.

                A:  They recommend changing the traps in 3 months, or if the traps become dusty or full of moths. Also, make sure you clean all food sources (crumbs, etc) out from all your cupboards, toasters, floors, etc... I also placed my garbage can outside in my garage. Once I put the traps up, wiped down cupboards with soap/water and clorox and vaccumed everything and removed all sources of food--my moth problem has vanished! I've heard that the eggs can survive for 300 days, so make sure you maintain a clean environment.

                Catchmaster Moth Traps is the best brand that we have bought. We have used these traps for 6 months now and we really like these traps. We have tried other brands but the moths just crawl out of the traps. These traps are very easy to set up and far exceeds our expections. With these traps the moths have not been able to free themselves.

                It's catching some moths, but not as many as some other brands. I wish HD hadn't stopped carrying Safer. The last couple of times I tried ordering Safer they sent me Black Flag because apparently they have the same SKU. :-(.

                DO NOT BUY. Hasn't caught moths. Waste of money.
                I got pantry moths from some bird seeds. I set up this trap roughly four months ago and it hasn't caught a single moth yet. DO NOT BUY. Complete waste of money. If you have pantry moths, find the source and discard it, clean everything else, store food in air tight containers, etc.

                That is great advice for people all of those suggestions are dead on the mark. Also I am sorry to hear you didn't have any luck with trapping. The pheromone in the trap attracts the boys and it is strong sometimes it takes a couple of weeks for the scent to dissipate enough to be effective. Otherwise the boys think girls are everywhere this also happens if you put out to many traps, in this case less is more. I realize your trap was out for quite awhile and yes you should have attracted something. I am unsure why your results were so poor? I am the supplier and not Home Depot but we do believe in this product as it has always worked very well. If you contact me directly I would be happy to discuss how we can make this better for you .                   Hi Julie, thank you for your feedback and it may be possible the Pantry moths in your home have not reached the mature-adult stage and may take a little more time for them to be attracted to our lure.
