Answer This Question
A:Â Hi, the 62000 4 Gal. Tree/Turf Pro Backpack Sprayer will function the same as the 61900 Backpack Sprayer. There are some added features to the 62000, such as the swing away pump handle that allows for better storage as well as a brass wand. Whereas the 61900 has the standard pump handle and chrome plated steel wand. If we can help with any further question, please feel free to call Chapin Customer Service at 800-444-3140 and they will be happy to assist you. Thank you for your question and for your business, we appreciate it.

A:Â Hi, we do not recommend the 62000 4 Gal. Capacity Tree/Turf Pro Backpack Sprayer for use with bleach as it will degrade the seals and sprayer components. We do offer sprayers designed specifically for bleach, model 61575 4 Gal. Backpack and 20075 1 Gal. hand pump sprayer. Please refer to chemical manufacturers instructions when mixing. If we can help with any further questions, please call our Technical Customer Service Team at 800-444-3140 and they will be happy to assist you. When calling, please have the SDS for the chemicals being used available. Thank you for your question and for your business, we appreciate it.

A:Â Yes it can treeTop... unlike most other sprayers, it comes with a gauge so you can monitor your pressure while spraying. Also it comes with a flo valve that can be connected to put out a continuous 21lb regardless of tank pressure.

Great sprayer but NOT comfortable
The sprayer does its job but I dread wearing this thing. Tried on a friend's FlowZone and the Chapin backpacks need to upgrade their harness system badly! Love the CF valve though. Consistently sprays despite discomfort. I don't recommend based on the harness/rigging, but otherwise, I would.

really nice sprayer
ordered this through Home Depot. Use it for the first time March 30th. the back pad and straps and belt type harness are really nice. like another review said belt strap really takes a lot of the weight off of your upper back but it does place it on your hips. That will take some getting used to. I had a Chapin backpack sprayer for eight years prior to this one and tape work really well. this one still leaks out of the tip when you don't want it to. Not great when you're using Roundup on your lawn. The Swinging away handle is really nice. the one they sent me has a built-in handle on the cap and the cap is 6 inch wide rather than 4 inches wide to makes it a lot easier to fill and rinse out.

Overspray-never again
When I needed a sprayer and a great pumping system I searched high and low untiI I came across Chapin sprayers. l ram so glad that I did. The pump arm solves a lot of bending over for the smaller hand pumps of old, strapped on my backpack pro and are the plants surprised. Definitely recommended-a great choice with ease of operation and everything at your fingertips !

Wearing it felt alright, but that's about it.
I work for a small company and we bought this product to test a spray application solution. Overall, the shoulder straps and lumbar support helped to carry the sprayer on my back... until it started to strain a little after a while. I didn't think the instructions were clear enough, as I also had issues with installation. The pump mechanism didn't seem like it was working, but I realized it took WAY more pumping than I originally thought.
I felt very tired after pumping the sprayer and pumping this lever would not be easy for someone who's older or has a weak arm.
The CF valve has a half-second lag from start to finish and there's major dripping. It only works with the one plastic nozzle the sprayer comes with so you would have to buy more nozzles sold separately if you want to use the CF valve.
Overall, this product needs improvement. I would NOT recommend these backpack sprayers again in the future.

After much consideration, I opted for this manual pump sprayer. I was between battery operated and manual. Besides the cost savings, I’m also very happy with the performance of this Chaplin sprayer. Easy to set up, easy to change nozzle types, easy to operate. Worked well every time I’ve used it.
