Repair crack pipe

Repair crack pipe
Asked by: Kevin
No , the pipe cement will not repair cracked pipe. Better off replacing the section of pipe. And don’t forget the primer when putting it together.

Is this item allowed for check-in in the aircraft?
Asked by: Angel
The airlines are getting very particular about what you can and cannot take onboard nowadays. And different airlines have different rules. My guess is that an unopened can wold be OK in your checked bag. But your best bet is to contact your airline and make sure.

I have used this product twice, on supply lines, and had leaks both times. In both cases, I allowed the joint to set for 20 minutes before pressurizing. The first time was a very minor drip, and I was able to stop it by coating the joint a couple more times. The second time I had leaks in 3 different places, and had to do the job over with standard PVC cement. This stuff does keep well, and does not dry up over time like standard PVC cement. And I might keep a can on hand, because it is probably OK for conduit, or drain lines. But I will never again use it for pressurized supply lines.

I would have given it 5 stars but it dries a little too fast. Wow a few seconds more Christy company!! I would use it for the basic runs and should have got a slower drying glue for the angled joints that might take some twisting into the correct angle after fit is made.
