Work perfectly! LEDs are directional so you need to have it on when you install it in order to aim the LEDs in the correct direction. In addition, I plugged my into a wall outlet and tested them before using them.

These rope lights are super bright white and look nice on our deck. The clips that came with them however leave to be desired. They snap and break when trying to insert the rope light into the clip. Recommendation: Allow the clips to "warm up" before trying to push the rope light down into the clip. They become more pliable when they are warm.

LED Rope Lights
They work grate. the only drawback is that their somewhat directional, so i would suggest plugging them in as your installing them , turning them the right direction as you go.

The lights themselves look great once installed around the ceiling in our living room. The clips at any temperature are not worth the trouble to screw into place as they will snap as soon as you try to insert the rope. Also they are a little directional so take care to in stall them facing the correct direction for you. I will rate the light itself high. The attaching clips however have earned a perfect ZERO.
We ordered foam crown moulding to hold ours up. Not installed yet so I do not yet have a picture.
