cooked well but not all that it is cracked up to be
I just bought this today. Pros: hamburgers cooked well and everyone enjoyed them. It did brown but no grill marks The cheese didnt stick at all to the mats. Would probably do well for lean meats: Shrimp, chicken and such. Cons: the mat doesnt allow for any of the fat to drip off. The instructions say to remove excess fat but if you are cooking hamburgers that is a nonstop issue. See picture. That caused tons if splatering of hot grease all over my grill, ground and me. They also are pretty blackened from where the grill flammed up from the grease running off the mats. Clean up went ok. Still lots of black on the mats but most came off.

Great product! Can use at home, camping or picnicing. Can make full meals on it (breakfasts, dinners, etc.) Easy to clean up after use and can be used many times over No worry about food falling through the grate and being wasted!

I purchased this yesterday because I had heard how well they worked and because of the fact that I was grilling stuffed chicken boobs and I always hated how the cheese drips out and gets through the grates and all over my flavor bars, etc. Well, I must say that these work wonderfully!! They did not change any of the cooking times (still 10 min per side for them) and the clean-up was extremely easy! Some pics that I have seen in reviews show these all stained and filthy after using, and maybe it has to do with the cooking temp that makes them get that way, but I cooked at 400 for 20 mins and these cleaned up to exactly how they looked when I took them out of the box. These do not give the grill-marks that we all love, but truth be told, I wasn't entering my chicken into any type of beauty contest. If you do require those markings, I suggest a quick sear directly on the grates after doing the majority of the cooking. All-in-all, I think that this is a fantastic, utile item that I will use again and again. Can't wait to do some veggies! The picture shows how well they cleaned up AFTER cooking!!
