I almost returned this, but after jacking around with it, I got it to attach. I have an older swing set and I bought these to replace the rusted chains. This looked promising because it had the nice plastic coating for added protection. The FIRST swing was okay. I had some trouble on one chain getting it to fit over my swing hook. Well, the next one was 1000x worse. Side note: It comes with 2 chains and 2 adapters (for lack of a better word) so you can attach the chain to the swing (butt piece) provided. The chain links are way too narrow. I thought it was my swing set at first, until I got to the second swing and it wouldn't even allow the provided adapter to fit through. I attempted various links, but alas they were all too narrow. I was going to return it, but my hubby got some wrenches and willed it on. It was so much effort, both our hands hurt after and one of the links was tucked under the link attached to the swing set....so then I needed to buy bolt cutters to remove that link (that is the only way these swings are coming off in the future too). My kids have asked for me to raise it up a little and I can't. I gave it 1 star bc it did work, but barely. Very poor quality control on link sizes. The seat and coating are nice but that is not useful if the chain won't attach. I took pictures so you can see how the chain is too small for anything to go through it. How in the heck I got it through now that I am taking these pics, I see is a miracle. And it's already starting to rust. Gotta WD-40 it now.

Beautiful new swing updates our tired swing set instantly!
These swings are fantastic! Our swing set was purchased from a family that outgrew it after a decade, so the swings and plastic parts were looking very tired from being loved and out in the AZ sun every day.
These swings showed up and my kids were over the moon with excitement. My wife tried putting them up, but the chains were smaller than our original hardware, and one of the supplied Quick Link Screw Down connectors wouldn't go through the supplied chain--we had to press it through with quite a bit of force, but the rest of the Quick Links worked fine. I added a 250lb stainless S-hook crimped shut with large pliers so that I could mount them up top to our original larger Quick Links. Before we got the swings up the kids were clamoring to get onto them, making installation a bit tricky...holding the weight of a kid in the swing while putting it up was a lot of fun because as a dad I love seeing my kids smile. Totally worth it to have "helpers" some times.
The swings are used more now than the old ones. There's no pinched fingers because the vinyl coated chains are doing their job--thanks! I look forward to seeing how these hold up in the sun. And for the record, Red is best for my oldest daughter because it's red. Yellow is my son's favorite because it's like John Deere. Both solid reasons, right?
