Hello Cookieman. The CC30 does not have an hour meter. Thank you for your question.
Many Mower Units are "SEASONAL" only ...whenever the supplies have become exhausted, there will be No More Available until next Spring, same as Christmas Trees or Snow Shovels or Garden Seedlings & Mulch, etc..
No it will not. The deck is 30 inches plus the tires are wider than that.
P. S. = To / For: "Mitch" dated June 16th a) - PLEASE ignore / disregard the {REPLY} to utilize another "Brand" Oil Filter! b) - To "DO" that will void your Engine's WARRANTY. c) - Inasmuch as it is at the MAX done Once annually, THAT is never a proper means of economizing, in my experiences.
On the right, just above the rear tire A Fram 3614 also fits
Should be located just behind the right rear wheel. May be painted Black.
Mitch: My Cub Cadet Rider(CC30H - GAS) was manufactured Nov 2019 - it has a 382CC Briggs$Stratton Engine. Per the Cub Cadet web site - the new 2021 Rider (CC30H - Gas version) has now a 344CC Engine from Briggs&Stratton. I contacted Technical Support from Cub Cadet to acquire the Engine Manual for the new Rider. Discovered the setup for Oil Fill, Oil Drain and Oil Filter are now different. I included diagrams of the older 382CC and the new 344CC engine setups for your review.
You will find that tractors run their best at medium speed. This tractor will give you about 6 to 7 mph top in. But I doubt you’ll never use the machine that speed.
It goes forward fine....a little slower in reverse.
I can't speak about the Electric Mower. I have a CC 30 H. The Hydro-static transmission, with the gasoline engine will move you along quite quickly.
Shirley = How Fast or is it slow ?? - - - - - By-the-way = {NEVER 7 - 8 mph!!!} Scroll down under picture on home P.C. to available PDF Files.... b) - "SPECIFICATIONS" states: Maximum Forward Speed (mph) = 5
P.S. = BushrodGentry = "WHAT" is the engine ?? {...perhaps, a more definitive REPLY is preferred??} a) - This (382cc) engine is the direct result of a Joint Venture by parent company "MTD CORP" with premeninent China Engine Maker. b) - Engines are Frequently sold alone under names including "PREADTOR" and 'POWERMORE' c) - Never presented to Long Established Testing / Verification {S.A.E. of USA} Procedures for HP .... None will be available.
Hello BushrodGentry. The CC30H has a Cub Cadet manufactured engine. Thank you for your question.
It is built by MTD.
?? What Engine ?? ...It has been changed to an entirely-Different Engine, so this applies to 382cc a) - It is the result of a Joint Venture between MTD Corp and Company from China - - sold separately as {PREDATOR} & [POWERMORE].
Height is 36 inches and lenght is 62 inches. The steering wheel is adjustable for height also.
The steering wheel is not adjustable, however the seat adjusts from forward to aft.
The Steering wheel height on mine measures 44 inches. That's in the yard, with the tires at maximum inflation. (FYI, the Top of the Back of seat measures 42 inches). Mine came fully assembled, so I can't say anything about the steering wheel being adjustable. My best advice would be to click on, and open the assembly instructions. Under "Info & Guides", on the HD page for this mower. The steering assembly is removable, and may be adjustable also.
Faye = ... Height? Is steering wheel adjustable? a) - At 'SPECIFICATIONS' = Assembled Height (in.) - 42 in b) - No, steering wheel is NOT "tilt' ... BUT, it does come completely "OFF" of course, via a small wrench. c) - {"F. Y. I."} = Just-in-case, this is FAR too large & awkward to be loaded @ Home Depot local store into any 'SUV' vehicle, etc., PLUS the next ordeal of removing same at home..... too easy to break a glass or tear the inside panels, headliner, etc..
"Engine" stops while Iding?" ( 100% of Residential Lawn Mower Engine are NEVER supposed to be "idled." a) - In order to maintain a fully-charged Battery by small internal alternator, as well as develop power enough to MOW, ALL are supposed to be run ONLY at top RPM / RABBIT "OR" - OFF. b) - Transaxle-Transmission IS for adjusting travel speed, NEVER slowing Engine.
JJ - "CUTS-OFF" @ Medium idling ??? a) - "OFF" the seat? ... Safety "Kill-engine" Switch mandates THAT to happen, every single time! b) - Engine is never supposed to be at other than 'RABBIT' or top R.P.M. - - THAT's the design Criteria to maintain Battery Charged and Grass cut appropriately ! c) - Use the Hydraulic Transaxle-Transmission Peddle to adjust / control speed forward - reverse!
If you are mowing at medium idle it may have to do with over heating shut down to protect the transmission and engine. I always mow at full idle so that the engine and transmission are getting full circulation of oil which helps to cool both components. This helps to protect from over heating damage. This is the best answer I could give.
Hello JJ, please call us to discuss some troubleshooting options with our technical department at 1-877-428-2349. Thank you for your question!
Good Question. Gas, Dirt/ debris, Air flow. These areas would be good to start with. Gas, Make sure your tank is clean, treated, and water free. Maybe change the fuel filter. Dirt/ debris, Yard cuttings can gather around the engine, and hinder cooling. Causing the engine to run hot, poor performance. Air, Check your engine air filter. Wash or change if needed. Note: Trouble with any of these may effect the spark plug. If you decide to change yours, (easy job), buy the Right One. Check and Set the gap properly also.
