Per the Manufacturer Culligan, this Raindisc Showerhead does have a filter (pictured on the product page) and the filter has an estimate life of 10,000 gallons or 6 months depending on household use.         Maybe this should have been obvious since it's a "rain"...
        Maybe this should have been obvious since it's a "rain" shower head, but there really wasn't enough pressure for my liking. I have found this to be true with other filtered Culligan shower-heads as well. Made of plastic, works well, easy to assemble and change the filter. LOW PRESSURE.

        Love love love this showerhead - EXACTLY what I was looking for!
        After relocating to a new part of town recently I discovered brown water stains in my shower and it made me really think about the water flowing out of my current showerhead and the gunk that was not only being left on my shower walls and floor but on my skin and hair! After reading lots of reviews I chose the Raindisc Showerhead. It was easy to assemble and install. The water pressure has not been affected, the water feels great (part filtered, part knowing that it is being filtered!) and not more brown water stains anywhere!

        Great Decision!!
