Though LevelQuik RS Self-Leveling Underlayment is intended to replace the use of a tile backer board, we would suggest (1) diluted coat (3;1) and (1) diluted coat (1;1); The leveler will also require metal lath. For further assistance please contact us at 1 800 282 8786 option 2.

In the corner of my tiled floor shower water puddles up. I'm looking for a clear self leveler that can fix this.

This goes on blue but will dry clear, but it is not a self leveler, it just just a primer that is applied before the self leveler.

What is the recommended cure time before applying floor leveler?

Answer

I waited until the product was dry to the touch and clear. This took about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Divots or deeper low areas take a little while (30-45 mins) longer. I allowed 2 hours and everything was good.

This product performed as described with the exception of drying time. The label states that it will dry in 2 hours. It took 12 hours for it to dry to the "clear" condition that the label states. The product was applied at 72 degrees and 54% humidity. So, if you have the time to wait (which I did) it delivers as promised. As an unexpected plus, the product is blue. This provided a good look at the peaks and valleys of the unlevel floor, which guided me in the application of leveler.

excellent product. It self leveled very well and set up quickly. The primer was easy to apply and the smell was no stronger than water based paint.
