Use it in your backyard and around patios, decks and picnic areas so you can enjoy your outdoor spaces in comfort. This aerosol fogger also kills gnats, flies, wasps, flying moths and ants (except carpenter, fire, pharaoh and harvester ants). For best results, spray when the air is calm; spray with wind if a slight breeze is blowing. Allow a few minutes for the product to take effect. Repeat as necessary, but no more than once per day. Q:how long do the effects last?

A:  I don’t remember how long it lasted but it definitely works. I treated my back yard the day prior to hosting a family event and was able to enjoy being in my back yard, especially after experiencing a severe attack of aggressive mosquitoes the last two summers  that made it impossible to enjoy my yard. I did treat my yard twice during the summer only because I only wanted to make sure I would not get bitten.

          A:  Thank you for your question. After application; pets must be removed from the area for a minimum of 30 minutes or until the product dissipates. The product cannot be applied to pets.

                  A:  I would assume that it would if it was labeled for it, but this stuff is an aerial fogger. You can buy a ground spray at Hime Depot that is labeled for that tye of use!

                    Cutter outdoor fogger
                    I have bought cutter outdoor fogger for years and loved it. The last 12 cans I've bought squirt liquid not fog. When I called the company they said I had to run the tip under hot water shake the can well to reset the fog part. Ridiculous and does not work. I don't know what they did but they ruin their own product. What a shame I won't be buying it again. And I don't recommend it.

                      Great for around playsets
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this around the play set in the back yard and it cut WAY down on the mosquitoes. I hate having to spray my kids down every time I send them out to play and playing out there with them sometimes is a nightmare. Using this cut way down on the amount of mosquitoes and if you apply it on a hot day, it doesn’t take long to dry and be safe for the kids to be around.

                        Worked a charm! Unfortunately, the smell scared the heck out of my dogs. They thought something weird had climbed the fence and was in the yard. I sprayed all the bushes around my open air workshop/shed. The mosquitoes were so bad, I had to wear complete coverings for working in there and my dogs and I would get covered with them when they hung out with me. I even had to spray my hands, face and ears with repellant, water diluted essential oils blend that I made, to work out there. Since I sprayed with the Cutter and let it dissipate, I have gone out there multiple times in my long sleeve white shirt. Despite the fact I ONLY sprayed that one small area, I have seen one mosquito in there since. And I sprayed early evening the day before. It is afternoon now. I used the whole can though. I think it traveled a bit. The smell to me was not very bad but I tried to stay upwind while spraying and backed out into the breeze side as I emptied the can. I let it dissipate for at least an hour before going back outside. I did not know when I started my review there was a contest so I added a picture.

                          The spray is effective for about an hour then I noticed insect activity in the area I sprayed. I also use other mosquito repelling products such as centranella candles and torches and burning coils as well as body sprays as added protection.

                              This Cutter product did nothing to kill or repel mosquitos....
                              This Cutter product did nothing to kill or repel mosquitos. I fogged our backyard early and did a second treatment prior to being in the back yard. When I did go into the back yard, I had mosquitos around me and continued to spray without any success. During my entire time outside, I used 3 cans of this product and still had to swat mosquitos to keep from getting bitten
