AnswersThat would depend on the chemical you use in the fogger. If you use the Cutter brand, it kills mosquitoes & other bugs. I would think it would harm or kill butterflies.

I was unable to get success in battling aphids where a normal pump sprayer was actually more effective. The point of a fogger is to get deep into the places where a sprayer cant and it did not achieve that with this product.

Generally a good idea but it does not work consistently - heats up unevenly and often just squirts hot oil instead of mist - refill oil is very expensive and hard to find - this product is a bust and overall expensive for the little it delivers - I do not recommend this

No on/off switch. You need to unplug it to shut it off. No overheat emergency off either. Need to repeat squeezing of trigger to keep the fog going. Otherwise it works well.
