Q:I have this product and installed it and it was great! But I?ve removed the sheet vinyl flooring and will be installing tile flooring. With the new flooring being higher, will I need to get a new ring, or can the blue part of the ring be pulled up?

Q:What size drain does this fit? I am not the person who will be installing, so I don't know if I have a 2, 3, or 4 inch drain. My house was built in 1964. I am only replacing the toilets because I want one piece toilets. Thank you

Wow just wow. Where has this ring been all these years. If your tired of the sticky gooey mess that a wax ring makes, then this is for you. I have installed 100's of toilets using the old wax style ring and sometimes had to use two if it didn't sit right the first time. Problem solved with this reusable ring and no mess what so ever, except for cleaning up the old wax residue . Check out the photos I attached for a closeup of the ring itself. The instructions are excellent and come in English and Spanish with lots of photos.

The Danco Perfect Match All-In-One Toilet Installation Kit is a great product. If you have ever had to use the wax ring type of installs and then had to re-position the toilet you know what an issue that can be. The old style wax rings fall off or rip apart but not to with the Danco Perfect Match All-In-One Toilet Installation Kit . The grey part has the wax ring under it so you can easily move it around. It makes creating a tight seal a lot easier. I wish I had this years ago, would have saved a lot of headaches.

The Next by Danco All-In-One Toilet Installation Kit with Perfect Seal & Zero Cut Bolts is the only product I will use from now on.
I have installed toilets, both residential and commercial, and this is by far the best kit I have ever used.
With a traditional wax ring, once you have set the toilet, if you have to remove it for some reason, you almost always need to replace the wax ring. No so with this design. If you need to make adjustments, you can, without destroying the ring.
The bolt height is adjustable up to 3". There is no need to cut them and allows for perfection even if the floor is not level. The low profile caps have a very clean look that I really like.

Long Overdue Innovation Making a Tough Job Easier
I dearly wish that I had had this All-In-One toilet installation kit 30 years ago when I replaced my first toilet. And if you have ever done this, you know that dealing with old mounting (closet) bolts that were shortened with a hacksaw is about the hardest part of the job, even though they are literally the smallest element of the effort. I remember several trips downstairs first to get a set of vice grip pliers, then a second trip for a pair of needle nose pliers with the diming hope I’d ever get the old nuts off short of using a hacksaw horizontally while lying on the bathroom floor. Then a third trip downstairs for the hacksaw…
So this Danco kit’s ingenious Zero Cut Bolts make any subsequent commode removal very easy and straightforward. The seal itself contains a traditional wax seal underneath the assembly, and then an optional (determined by your finished floor height) flexible plastic spacer at the top to ensure there is no leaking later. I highly recommend using this kit when fixing leaking toilet bowls (like I did) or new installations because subsequent removal efforts will be so much easier—and no hacksaw required.

Installed seal and toilet as instructions said and pressed down....
Installed seal and toilet as instructions said and pressed down. The rubber surrounding the wax ring forced a good portion of the wax ring down the sewer pipe. Which would have resulted in a blockage had I not checked. Much cursing followed as I gloved up and had to clean out the pipe. Will never use a wax seal again.
