This mower is frankly a beast! I have a M.S. and walking uphill with my Frontbl wheel lawn wasnt working for me, but the dewalt rear drive d9es an Amazing job for me! It starts very easy no priming and starts with 1 pull!! I purchased at home depot for 267.00 being ex military getting 10 percent off I recommend this dewalt mower!!

DeWalt dead man handle broke in half after the second use. Returned for full refund.

Height adjustment notches are plastic and eventually wears down causing the level to switch to the lowest level. Fustrating , I thought buying a DEWALT mower would gave better quality. I have never had a worst experience with a lawn mower. The lawnmower is 1.2 years old.

After ordering and receiving the mower. I put it together, oiled and fueled it to use then went to adjust the cut height and found that the first adjustment pin/tin was mangled beyond repair. It is made of plastic! The floor model was high up on a shelf so unable to view. If I had known this part was plastic I would not have purchased it

The RWD keeps malfunctioning! I've cut my grass 4xs and 3xs I've had to fix the drive! They only have 1 bolt to hold the unit on there when it clearly needs 4. So the belt constantly keeps coming off. The unit is so small that it's hard to even fix it or add other bolts or screws in it

If I could give this mower 0 stars, I would. For a mower costing as much as it does, the quality, reliability, and overall design are completely unacceptable. I originally owned the smaller 2025 model. When this larger 2026 version was released, I traded mine in and paid the difference to upgrade. That was a huge mistake. I have used this mower approximately five times, and here's what I've dealt with already: - The blade broke. The mower came equipped with a blade that was noticeably thinner than what I would expect to see on a mower in this class. - The engine hydrolocked. - The engine then completely failed. After roughly five uses, I now have an expensive mower that doesn't run. - The discharge attachment is incredibly cheap and poorly designed. Under completely normal mowing conditions, it would repeatedly come loose and fall off. An attachment designed specifically for a lawn mower shouldn't fall off simply from using the mower as intended. - The self-propel system is terribly designed. It puts your wrist in an extremely uncomfortable position and makes turning the mower much more difficult than it needs to be. - Mowing on a hill feels genuinely unsafe. Between the awkward self-propel mechanism and the mower's high center of gravity, controlling it on a slope is unnecessarily difficult. - The mower feels extremely top-heavy. Even on a slight angle, it feels like it wants to tip. I should not have to worry about a lawn mower tipping over while mowing an ordinary residential yard. This isn't one isolated problem. It's a combination of poor engineering, cheap components, terrible ergonomics, major reliability problems, and legitimate safety concerns. A mower costing as much as this one does should last for YEARS — not suffer a broken blade, hydrolocking, and complete engine failure within its first handful of uses. Now I'm completely without a functioning mower and paying a lawn service because the expensive mower I just purchased can't make it through five uses. I upgraded to the bigger 2026 model expecting a more capable and improved machine. Instead, I ended up with one of the most disappointing pieces of equipment I've ever purchased. I would absolutely not recommend this mower. Save your money and buy something else. 0/5 stars if that were an option.

I bought this 6/16/25. I only used it for places my zero turn couldn't get. The bolt that attaches the blade, snapped. I filed a claim and dewalt opened a ticket but will not respond. Waste of money.

I bought this mower expecting DeWALT’s usual commercial-grade reliability, but the quality control on this machine is completely unacceptable. First, the wheel lever adjustment spring snapped and broke after just three months of normal household use. To make matters worse, as I looked closer at the machine, I discovered that several factory screws were cross-threaded and forced into the wrong holes right out of the box. For a premium brand that prides itself on being "Tough," this is a massive disappointment. Having structural components fail and finding basic assembly errors in less than a season of use is ridiculous. DeWALT needs to clean up their manufacturing and quality assurance. I had to take This Dewalt mower back 2 times because parts broke off. Which I was told I would have to deal with Dewalt for anymore problems. What a mistake I made. I should have got a credit and never bought this mower. I would not recomand this mower or Dewalt at this point. Now the blade adapter has broken off. Box says 3 yr warrenty which I would expect from Dewalt. Except this part only has 30 day warrenty. Dewalt referred me to Standley Decker and Craftsman. I guess Dewalt lawn mowers don't have Dewalt parts and they don't want anything to do with customers who have part problems. So much for buying a name Brand. Problem with that, I have been told they don't have that part and don't think they will be getting that part. Which is a big problem. He said he would do more checking and get back to. Well that never happened. I called back spoke with someone else. She agreed to order the blade adaptor part. I asked for a email showing me the part she was going to order to make sure it was correct. Email never came. But I did received 2 pulleys which I don't need. Please think very hard when considering a purchase of this Dewalt gas lawn mower. It does not make good yard art. Nor does it hold up to the Dewalt Brand. They need to stick to selling tools not lawn mowers.
