That is the question for Home Depot. I just offer advice and solutions to customer questions. Sorry Chris. Hopefully the good folks at Home Depot will heed my advice.
It does rout a 1/2" DAIMETER rounded groove. So the tool is a 1/4" RADIUS. The picture description is incorrect.
It has a 1/4 in shank
1/4" shank. Did a great job for me. Used it with a Porter Cable router
Hi Joe, Thank you for your question. The shank size is 1/4" hope this helps.
The shank diameter is .25"
It fits a 1/4'' chuck.
This is a 1/2" diameter bit, I'm not sure why it says 1/2" radius on the picture
Looks like the person writing the info on the website has "radius" and "diameter" mixed up. I see this on several router bits.
Hi Chris, Thank you for your question. There may be an error on the website. For clarification, the radius is 1/4" and the overall diameter is 1/2". Hope this helps.
The radius is ¼”. The diameter is ½”.
