Easy to work with, but.....
I used PatchPro on Dricore Smartwalls for my basement because the instructions say PatchPro is made specificaly for Smartwall. Instructions say easy to apply, 3 coats with minimal sanding. Not exactly in my case. I’m a competent DIYer but, full discloser, I don’t do mudding drywall very well. So PatchPro looked like a good alternative to conventional joint compound, even though it is much more expensive. Instructions say 1qt for 10 to 12 Smartwall panels. I bought 5 quarts at almost $17 a quart, for 40 installed panels. 3 coats on each joint and still not smooth on many joints. Smartwall t and g fit well but if the connection is off by 1/16 to1/8 inch, you need more compound, feathered out to create a smooth joint. Ordered 3 more quarts, still not enough. Getting too expensive so I bought a 5 gallon tub of all purpose joint compound for a fraction of cost and took me 2 more coats on all joints to get a smooth finish. Don’t know. Maybe its me.

Worked well with DriCore wall panels. Needed three containers of the patch for 42 linear feet of wall that was given three coats. First coat uses the most product, second and third much less.
