A: Hi Bubba, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Our T13020 trim kit will fit any of our current and older 1300 and 1400 series shower valves. You do not need additional parts. Please note, if the valve is older, the new cartridge assembly that is included with our new shower trims may not fit the valve. We appreciate your inquiry. Not universal fit

This is not a universal fit shower handle.

Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about, T13020-SS! The trim kit is designed for our universal rough valve R10000-UNWS; However, it can retro fit our pre-2006 1400 series. We can not guarantee this would fit properly with non Delta product.

1) no turn-down slide so it is all or nothing. 2) the Delta Valve that goes with this fails, find a different one that goes with it if you can. We have had 2 major leaks within two years of ownership. First they replaced the seats and springs, the second time it was the cartridge assembly. The problem is that it takes a week to arrive so you either are screwed or you have to go buy it yourself before it arrives.
