Yes, this is the correct repair kit. However, to resolve the leak you only need to replace the RP4993 seats and springs inside the cartridge located in the valve.     Q:We need to replace a shower facet that is a Delta 1500 model. I don't see the nut in the picture that would hold the cartridge in place.

Yes, the Lifetime Limited Warranty covers all parts and finishes be free of defects for as long as the original purchaser owns the home in which it was first installed. https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/52/5235b9a2-233d-4ea9-9f8f-408134cb6b84.pdf We recommend first checking that the Rotational Limit Stop is properly adjusted if the water is not warm enough. Flush the valve and check that the pressure balance cylinder moves freely inside the cartridge for further troubleshooting.
