            My Delta soap dispenser is about 13 or 14 years old. The straw to the pump is what broke on my old one. Ordered this as a replacement thinking even if this new pump/straw assembly was too long for my old bottle that I would just swap out my old bottle. The straw does appear to be too long, but we didn't get that far because the top of the pump does NOT fit inside my stainless steel soap dispenser head which I am not going to replace to accommodate a cheap $7 part. It looks like it is the same size, but does not fit snugly, like the old one. Another difference between the old bottle and this replacement bottle is that the threading on the bottle is not compatible. It's the same diameter, but much thinner than my older one. Not sure what the solution is but very disappointed that something as simple as replacing a soap dispenser pump is so difficult especially when we specifically went with Delta thinking we were buying a product we wouldn't have to worry about in the future. We are getting ready to do a major kitchen renovation. Maybe we need to rethink Delta products.

              Fixed my broken soap dispenser
