Fine line details
Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. I tested this bit out on a coated tumbler I bought at the store. I used a vinyl decal to outline my image. This bit allowed me to get nice clean lines along the edges. It carves very smoothly, I kept it between 20-25 the majority of the time. I only had to run it lightly over to get the line to form. In larger areas I found that holding it almost flat against the cup made a nice smooth surface. When I was done I did go over parts of it with a rounded bit to smooth out some of the sharp lines in the wider parts but I wanted to keep some of the lines to give it that drawn look. I attached a short video so you can see how smoothly the lines draw out. I was holding the flex shaft in an awkward position trying to make sure the video captured what I was doing, hopefully you can see everything ok. I can see this being one of my favorite bits for this type of carving.

    Ultimate Carving Bit!!
Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. This carving bit worked great for putting the finishing touches on a silverware box I had. I’ve had this box as a family ere-loom for quite a long time, and I thought it’d be nice to carve our family crest on the top. Again this bit really held up all the way through and I can still use it again and again. The max life bits really get the job done! Most carving bits I’ve used had to be used at a pretty high speed and, if I had the wrong angle, it would stutter and skip on me. This blade cut no matter what angle I used and carved great at multiple speeds.

      Strong little Bit!
Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. I know the package says carving, but the product for me worked wonderfully as a deburring bit for a tight area I was having issues getting to. The bit did the job no matter how much I abused it and to my surprise it was still straight and sharp! Impressive.

        Controlled Cutting
Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. I used this bit in the Dremel model 225 flexible shaft to carve an irregular groove into a piece of drift wood. I planned to use it to hold stained glass. The tight twist and the sharp cutting edges allowed me to maintain control of the carving bit through the wood and occasional shell. There was no problem to make repeated adjustments to the depth and width to ensure a good fit.

Might be Small but a hard Worker
Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. The Tungsten Carbide Carving bit is indeed a hard worker and great choice for quick and easy cutting of wood, laminates, plastic Aluminum, brass, stone and yes even ceramic and glass. And will run at 18,000 to 35,000 RPM for different materials. I used it on a wood project under way and tried it on a stone, aluminum and glass waiting to be a projects. It worked well on all. Just remember to not put too much pressure trying to hurry it as it will kickback and could be a problem for you. A Great choice for crafts and hobby's.

            Surprised!
I was surprised how well this bit engraved my tile trivet. I was expecting it to slip and slide on the tile, but it held true. At an angle, it gave me a precision edge to cut the fine details on the trivet. I also, used it to carve a wood shuttle and engrave a copper bracelet. Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.

Held up great with mild steel
I used this cutter to elongate the hitch pin hole in a 2" hitch socket so that my winch plate would fit. I've had cutters that would break teeth pretty easily, especially with the inevitable chatter. This cutter stayed sharp, the teeth are intact, and it speeded up the material removal considerably compared to a grinding cutter.

This is one strong metal that can grind even stainless metals. Had to use it to grind away a broken bolt that had a broken drill bit in it. It was a last resort move but it did the job very well. Highly recommended.
