Product Overview
Make bicycle transportation for long camping trips easy with the Elevate Outdoor RV Bike Rack (formerly Apex). This 4-bike bumper bike rack is designed from heavy-duty powder-coated tubular steel and provides a safe effective means for securing bicycles to RV campers. To install, simply line up the carrier rack and fasten the U-bolts to a square 4 in. to 4.5 in. RV bumper along with the bike carrier racks and the L style tie-down bracket. All necessary hardware is included.

This simple rack design is perfect for mounting on our travel trailer bumper. We used it on several trips with 4 adult sized bikes in the rack with no issues. It may be challenging to use if you have smaller children with bikes that are shorter wheelbase. Also, mountain bikes with oversized tires will not fit into the slots. I would have given it 5 stars, but the package was missing some hardware. I've read about that issue on other reviews, so this is a problem with the manufacturer.

This is great for heavier bikes, but how do you keep them in place? There is no strap or mechanism that secures the bike in an upright position. We sent it back.
