to measure inside angles I slide the upper right corner into the angle then square off the swing arm measuring in multiple locations to ensure that it is paralell to the side its not touching tighten up the lock pin and you have the angle.
you can use it to make a small one then just carry you lines out or take a twenty foot cord and pin it to the center and swing it around marking out you half circle with a scribe on the other end
its a little painful but yes. Slide the corner of the rectangular part into the corner then swing the arm so its paralell to the other wall measuring in multiple then tighten it down. The result should be your corner. Or you can cheat and use a block between the swing arm and wall once you lock the arm down the inside angle where the swing arm is attached is your angle.
