You’ll need approximately 3 inches of clearance from the center of the faucet’s mounting hole to the backsplash to ensure the handle can fully swing open.

Has anyone had issues with the knob sticking? I have trouble turning off the water, the knob sticks when trying to turn off/on. In order to turn off, I need to hold the knob and the neck of the faucet, if that makes sense.

If the optional metal deck plate is not used to install the faucet, there is a circular silicone washer that needs to be inserted under the base of the faucet prior to installing.
