Chrome Travel Lock

Such wonderful design to lock a closet door. Lot of people even cannot figure out how to use it. Pity. We lost the long piece. The manufacturer does not sell it. We have to buy whole thing. :(

This is a great portable lock. Works on the road at the office and at home. The lock is strong. You may want to use padding to prevent paint scratches.

Works great even on old door in 1940s house!

I used this lock for my closet door (structured like any room door) while subletting my apartment, and it worked great! Really easy to use, and works well. This lock was perfect for what I wanted it for. It was also inexpensive and delivered to my apartment quickly.

This product did not work at all. The key stuck into the lock and then it fell apart.

My mother put this lock on the front door of the house when I was eight years old. My father was out of state, training for his new job. Alone with three children, two dogs and a cat and working a full-time job to keep up the mortgage, my mother did not know what to do when she came home one day, and there were huge muddy boot-prints that tracked down to the end the hallway, without going into any of the rooms, and tracked right back out of the house, through the front door. My mother purchased two of these locks and placed them on the front and back doors, My mother fell asleep on the couch in the living room with a shotgun within easy reach for safety. When daylight arrived, my mother found that someone had "CARVED" out the door all around the locking mechanism of the door handle, trying to get into the house. My mother never heard a thing, because she was so exhausted! That lock saved our lives! The police told us that when someone goes into somebody's home and never goes into the bedrooms, such as this person did, that they have already planned on what they are going to do to their victims. I don't go anywhere without my locks when traveling and I use them at home, even though I have an alarm system! It is literally impossible for anyone to get in without BREAKING DOWN THE DOOR! It is simple to use, and I can use it in the dark, without lighting, if needs be. I HIGHLY recommend this lock. It will give you peace of mind against home invaders!

System worked in our hotel bedroom.

The lock works well to keep a drawer/door secure. I used it to lock sliding closet doors in a guest room. However, the locking mechanism is so stiff i am concerned the key is going to break in the lock. I tried oiling the lock but it is still extremely stiff. Not happy with the locking mechanism.
