The 2023 version is only 32 inches wide. Too small to fit across a window. Why???
This product has always been 32” long and is for use when installing your window air conditioner. It will fit most standard windows.

It is 36".long The solid pc is half in by just under a quarter inch. The others that go under the ac and on top I am not sure

weather stripping for doors have put different ones and the drift still comes in, there is a big gape on the door

will this product work for keeping cold out during winter?
I recommend taking out your A/C unit during the winter season so that you can properly shut your window to keep out the cold air. You will also want to clean the filter and entire A/C unit to ready it for the next warm season. The foam is thick but I wouldn't use it to insure keeping the winter weather out.
I believe it would work well. The foam is very sturdy and dense.
