This kit is not made for doors. Our question to you would be is the gap at the bottom or on the sides.
Yes you can use. This for that type of window.
Yes, that is exactly how i used it
Yes! It works perfectly for that purpose.
Yes you can
Absolutely yes you can
I recommend taking out your A/C unit during the winter season so that you can properly shut your window to keep out the cold air. You will also want to clean the filter and entire A/C unit to ready it for the next warm season. The foam is thick but I wouldn't use it to insure keeping the winter weather out.
I believe it would work well. The foam is very sturdy and dense.
It keeps the bugs out so would probably keep the cold air out too
Yes , however for - temperature you should use a second layer
It will help sealing cracks around the A/C unit to help keep out drafts.
Yes , however you should look for a second layer of insulation for winter - weather
This type of insulation is generally used for double hung windows with an air conditioning unit installed. It is not really much use for Winter weather stripping. There are many different types of weather stripping available for doors and windows to keep the cold drafts out of your house and the heat in.
