Hello Jimm, thank you for your question. This is a light socket, not a light. You twist your light into this sensor, so this unit has no lumens. If you have any other questions, please give us a call between the hours of 7 AM – 8 PM Central Standard Time, Monday thru Friday at 1-800-654-8483, press option 4
Try tightening it all the way and then easing it out by turning counterclockwise until the sensor points at the desired angle. The light stays on for 10 min and there doesn’t appear to be a way to adjust the ‘on’ time.
Hello Madgie, thank you for your question. The main issue is that the light is not turning off. The light should be turning off 10 minutes after motion stops. Here is how to rotate the lighting control: Screw the lighting control into the socket. Once tightened, rotate the light control counter-clockwise to position the motion-sensing lens in the desired direction. Ensure that there are no line-of-sight obstacles to block the motion sensor. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to respond or give us a call between the hours of 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Standard Time, Monday thru Friday at 1-800-654-8483, and press option 4. Hello Workebee, thank you for your question. No, the motion-sensor cannot penetrate glass, plastic lamp shades or other covering. The product is designed and tested for the bulb to be in a downward position. Unfortunately, our product was not tested in the direction and manner of which you are using it therefore it is a safety concern and we recommend installing the product in the manner it was intended to be used. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to respond or give us a call between the hours of 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Standard Time, Monday thru Friday at 1-800-654-8483. Thank you.
1. I would think so. It's very sensitive to movement. 2. I think so also. BUT due to incandescent light getting hot, I'd make sure it's an LED bulb! So it wouldn't effect the electronics in the unit.
No it can't be adjusted. It stays on for approximately 10 minutes.
Hi Myra, thank you for your question Unfortunately, the timeout time cannot be customized. The light is set to run off 10 minutes after motion stops. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to respond or give us a call between the hours of 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM Central Standard Time, Monday thru Friday at 1-800-654-8483. Thank you.

it does not turn off when light, the motion sensor i think is infrared or phased and will turn it on when my dogs or I pass within around 15ft. it will stay on for about 10 min from the last time it detected motion. i have used it on my back porch with a 120vac outlet adapter to turn on my radio as i approach even on sunny days.
