Product Details

Add more-outlets where you need them most using the GE 6 Grounded-outlet Adapter Wall Tap. Accepting both polarized and grounded plugs, the tap requires use with an existing grounded duplex wall-outlet. The tap converts the duplex-outlet into six grounded-outlets, making it perfect for any needs around your home. Install with the mounting screw in the middle to secure the-outlet adapter permanently to the-outlet. The GE 6 Grounded-outlet Adapter Wall Tap has an electrical rating of 125VAC, 15 A, 1875W and is UL Listed.
  • Multi-outlet tap: this 6-outlet tap plugs into a standard 2-outlet receptacle, expanding 2-outlets to 6-outlets

Q:What happened to the older style adapter that fits flush to the wall and trimmed the installation to a finished look. It had two, one to three adapters as part of this product. It also came in an ivory color. These new designs are mostly junk.

                One outlet wasn’t enough
                This is being used in a location where a duplex has only one always live plug and a switched plug. We needed at least two always live plugs. This just plugs into the existing duplex and secured with the supplied screw. We now have three always live and three switched outlets. Our problem solved!
