When paired with a compatible hub, the hardwired smart control operates and adjusts the speed of ceiling fans through individual commands and programmed settings. Wirelessly control the fan's schedule and speed for effortless management of your home. Your automation possibilities are seemingly infinite when connected to hubs from Wink, SmartThings, HomeSeer, Vera, Nexia and more.

Operate, schedule and create custom scenes for your ceiling fan wirelessly with a smartphone or voice commands when connected to a compatible hub
The smart device is specifically designed to control the speed of up to two identical fans and cannot be used for lighting
Lights on fans featuring three wires - typically red, black and white - as well as line and ground wires can be controlled by a separate GE-branded Enbrighten Z-Wave Smart Switch or Dimmer in the same wall box
Smart device operates perfectly on its own or seamlessly integrates into multi-switch setups with required add-on switches

A: Hello Valued Customer, thank you for your question. Generally, people only control 1 fan at a time with these switches, but you cannot have more than 2 identical fans wired to this switch. A: Hello Joseph, thank you for your question. The ratings for our fan control are as follows: Power: 120VAC, 60Hz | Signal Frequency: 908.4/916MHz. Maximum loads: 2.5A no more than two identical fans to the switch. Not to exceed 2.5A resistive load. Controls Fan Motor only. For use only with split-capacitor or shaded-pole ceiling fan motors. If your fan meets these requirements, then you can use our switch with it. A: Hi Gary, thank you for your question. The switch is designed to only control the fan and adjust speed (low, medium and high) and program scheduled events for fans from anywhere. The light kit will require a different switch. A: No this will not work for what you want. The only way it will do that if the switch is activated you could use the pull chains to have the fan or lights off or on. You will need to have two switches to do what you're wanting.

Amazing Smart Home Starter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to anyone looking to make their home smart, I will mention that you need a Z Wave smart hub with this. Took less than an hour to install, it was pretty easy and we started using it right away after pairing it with Alexa. It is voice controlled, which makes turning your fans on so much easier. Pros: Pairs with Alexa, Easy To Install, High quality, voice controlled, eco friendly, easy installation, functional, good design Cons: Needs smart hub, does not control lights and you do need a seperate switch for fans, only controls 2 fans Overall, I definitely recommend using the GE Z Wave smart products.

Very confusing fan control switch

Great Wireless Control w/SmartPhone

What a great way to control my fan!
