Replace your standard wall switches and old spring-wound timers with the quiet operation of the GE Push Button In-Wall Digital Timer. With a simple push of a button, lights, exhaust fans, and heaters will turn on and off. The in-wall digital timer can be set on intervals of 5, 15 or 30 minutes, and 1, 2 or 4 hours. Fits any decorator rocker-style single or multi-gang wall plate. Works with CFL, LED and incandescent lighting. Easy to install - ground wire is REQUIRED (no neutral wire needed).

Is the timer compatible with a relay load (e.g. Functional Devices RIBU1C)?

If you connect the load terminal to the White/Blk wire and the Wht/Yel wire to neutral it should work OK but remember this timer requires the ground connection be made (Green wire) to operate. If you have any other questions or are unsure about the installation please refer to a local licensed electrician.
Why does timer turn on and quickly turns off?

When using the countdown feature will it come on automatically the same time each day once set or is this a one time setting and needs to be repeated ?
