A:  Hello! Inside the faucet handle is a battery operated 6-month timer. The product water faucet is shipped with a battery in the holder.     A:  Hello there - Thanks for asking us this great question! We're happy to help you with this. The pre and post filters of your system need to be replaced every 6 months. Replace them more often if they clog with sediment. Depending on the hardness of your water, the membrane cartridge may also need to be replaced. If your water pH is from 6.8-7.7, the membrane could last well over one year. If the water pH is from 8.5-10, the membrane may need to be replaced every 6 months.         Q:My indicator light is still blue and not flashing, but there is no water coming out of the faucet and the tank has 8 PSI of pressure and is now emp. It's been about 5 months and a half since I installed it. Is this a pre and post filter replacement issue?

          Easy to replace
          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE filters FQ18PN are super easy to replace and are compatible with select GE Under Sink Filtration Systems including GXRQ18NBN which I use them with. The system and filters provide a REVERSE OSMOSIS filtration that provides the best tasting water I have had. I am on a treated community well and always disliked the water as it was hard water with a strong chlorine taste and smell. The filters removed all the taste and smells from the drinking water. I have ditched the wasteful water bottles for the GE system. The filters last 6 months with normal use and removes 95% impurities. The item description was just as described and I would buy it again.

            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filtration system is wonderful! I did not realize how much difference there is with filtered water. Water taste so much better and will definitely be drinking more of it due to this filtration system. I did have a little bit of help from my husband in connecting everything, but it seem to be pretty easy. I think it took him a whole 5 minutes, if even that.
