About This Product

Control up to 3 different garage door openers from a variety of manufacturers on a single wireless wall console! With a completely wireless installation and no need for additional consoles to be added, the universal wireless wall console provides a simple and effective solution when controlling multiple openers. The universal wireless wall console also features an optional bright pulsing LED light that allows you to find it in the dark and a Jogger DELAY button that allows you to have up to twenty extra seconds to delay the movement of any or all of the garage doors. No need to jump over the garage door safety sensors, just set the time delay close feature for 10-seconds, 15-seconds or 20-seconds by pressing the hourglass button on the wireless wall console. The Wireless Wall Console will work with most popular brands of garage door openers. The Genie Universal Three-Door wireless wall console is powered by 2 AAA batteries (included). If the batteries are running low, you will see a blinking red light weeks ahead of time reminding you to change the AAA batteries.

        Didn't work for me but..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of the Genie universal wireless garage door opener. It did not connect to my unit but I think its because mine is old and probably discontinued. The instructions are clear and it's not overly complicated. You need a ladder to reach the overhead unit to program the wall console. I would recommend researching to make sure its compatible but definitely worth checking out. The console requires 2 aaa batteries that are not included.

          Easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best feature of the Genie Universal Series Universal Wall Console is the wireless functionality . It eliminates the need for cumbersome wires, giving my garage a clean and organized look. The wireless communication allows me to control my garage door opener from the wall console the same as I would from a wired wall unit. It is battery powered and comes with 2 AAA batteries installed. The wall console itself is well-designed and user-friendly. It features clearly labeled buttons for opening, closing, and stopping the garage door. It also has a delayed close button feature that allows me time to exit my garage before it begins to close. It is easy to install. The installation process was straightforward and simple to follow. I was able to install it without any issues. It is a reliable and convenient addition to any garage door system. My only issue with this console is that it does not have a button to control the garage door opener light.

Simple to program and works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Genie Company - Universal Wireless Wall Console was very easy to program and set up. We mounted this inside our back door so we can open our detached garage doors from inside the house. It went from out of the box to working in less than 10 minutes - and even came with the batteries already installed.

              Very Nice!!
This is a very nice unit; it is a wireless wall mounted remote console that will work with almost all brands and styles of garage door and gate openers. The instructions say that the openers it will work with are UL325 manufactured after 1993. The range seems to quite good, so you shouldn’t have to worry about the distance of the mounting point for most applications. You can set each individual button for a different brand and style of opener, meaning you can have 3 different brands and styles of openers and it will work with all of them, Very Nice! It will even work with some of the old “dip switch” style openers. It will work with 303, 310, 315, 318, 372.5, 390, 433.92 MHZ openers. It is fairly easy to program for most of the newer openers, but the programing for the older “dip switch” style opener is a little more complex, not a total pain but it may require a couple of tries. You will also need to go to the Genie website to get the instructions for the “dip switch” programming. The blue LEDs on the buttons will blink when the unit is in stand by mode, you can adjust this, the factory setting is once every 3 seconds, you can also set the blink rate to once every 2 seconds or Off. There is also a button that will allow you to delay the closing (or opening) of the door for 10, 15, or 20 seconds. All in all very nice unit that works well. Love that I only need one remote instead of 3

the best instructions and garage door opener to date!
The Genie Universal Wireless 3-Door Garage Wall Console is by far the easiest and best garage door remote I've ever programmed! The instructions are spot on, the compatibility chart is the easiest to follow, and once you find your number/code it takes 2 minutes max of total work with the opener and your garage door to sync up! I love that it can sync with multiple doors and has lights for each button so you never have to mess with multiple buttons trying to press the right one to work.

              Wireless Garage 3-Door Control
Genie Series Universal Wireless 3-Door Control. Compatible with 14+ brands. I’m using the Genie garage door opener programming. Learn method was the best procedure for me. Go through the steps using press delay button, press learn button, press the door button until the garage door begins to open. Note: I had to go through the process a couple of times, but it works now, and I can open my garage door from inside instead of waiting until I get in the car. I didn’t have the wall opener in the garage, so this is an upgrade for me to be able to have an alternate way to open the garage door.

Exit the garage without tripping the safety beam.
Did you every try to close the garage door and run quickly under the closing door, hoping to not trip the safety sensor? GENIE's universal wireless Wall Switch allows us to pick a delay of 10-15-20 seconds before the door starts to close. And it can control three(3) different doors. Without running wires! I wish I had bought this last summer when I replaced my old opener. The task of running the wire from the opener motor head to the wall switch is hard since the ceiling is 10-feet high. This makes it simple to add a controller closer to the garage door without having to go all the way through the garage to reclose it. Or to add a wired switch near the garage door. The ability to use the delay alone is worth the cost, which, compared to a spare remote, negligible.

You can put this anywhere in the garage but not waterproof!!!
I think the best use for is if you are doing a new install of garage door opener there is no need to run wires. The other use is if your keypad stop working this is a good alternative. It's battery operated and I'm not sure how long they will work but there are no special batteries just 2 aaa batteries. You can operate this keypad for up to 3 doors. If you have a Genie keypad wired the mounting screws line up so no extra effort drilling holes.

              Great battery operated wall console
I’ve had the same wired wall mounted garage door controls now for 25 years. They still work fine but over the years have become loose and no matter how many times we tighten then they become loose again. I was so excited to see this Genie universal garage wall console and was even more excited when I saw that it was wireless. Well, some of that excitement died down because in this case wireless means battery operated, not WiFi. That’s ok though because I’m used to swapping out batteries anyway. This Genie wall console was ridiculously easy to install. For an Overhead Door brand opener, press the delay button (long right button) on this wall console until all buttons blink blue. Press the door button of your choice. Go to the ceiling mounted door opener itself then press the learn button for 2 seconds. Press the chosen door button on the wall console every two seconds until the garage door opens then press the chosen door button again and that’s it! To install I simply inserted one screw in the wall then hung the wall console with the slotted mount onto the screw. I inserted the second screw into the hole in the battery compartment. I didn’t even use the included drywall anchors and this console isn’t going anywhere. It’s securely mounted. After I installed it I did notice that the doors don’t open the first time so I had to continue pressing the button but this may improve with time. You can also decide if you want to stop the blinking blue light, which helps you see the console in the dark. It blinks every 2-3 seconds. I’m going to see how fast this drains the batteries and if not too fast then I’ll let it blink. If it does then I’ll follow the steps to turn this option off. I love how easy this garage door wall console was to install and the Genie name. They make great garage door accessories. Comes with mounting screws, batteries and easy to follow instructions, which includes the program methods for several brand doors. I highly recommend if your existing wall console no longer works. Great price too.

              Excellent product.
Love all my genie products, added thus one to my garage so I could control my third car garage door opener, before I got this I would have to go to the third car area to push the button. One of these days I was going to wire it in to the control by the entry door, five years later, still not done, when saw this wireless one, what a perfect solution. Plus it still works with the wireless and smart home solution. I can now control both doors from the wall right next to the kitchen entry door. In addition I can open the doors from my cars with the built-in controls in my car, the wireless keypad for when I work on the yard. The best is the internet based app that does things like shuts the door after a specific time elapsed, at a certain time of day so the door is not left open all night, or from my phone anywhere in the world. Plus I can check the state of the door open or closed This product was extremely easy to install, couple of press on the remote, couple of presses on the door opener and mount the remote to the wall. Extremely simple!
