This is a really good looking weather vane. The copper and brass look fantastic at certain times of the day depending on how the sun is reflecting off of them. I would think that this product would hold up well over time. The price is probably the only real negative for me so far but if it lasts for several years I can live with that. Assembly was very easy and it only took about ten minutes. Be sure and plumb the mounting rod straight and set the directionals with a compass then enjoy!

This weathervane was absolutely beautiful! I purchased it as a gift. The recipient was thrilled to get it. She has a 5-acre "farm" in the city with several buildings on the farm...green house, chicken coop, barn, etc. It was big enough that she could see it from the farthest building she put it on. Her husband wanted to put it on the main house so everyone could see it, not just them! The weathervane is beautifully crafted. The rooster was the perfect decoration for the farm.

The Proud Rooster weathervane adds an interesting focal point to my gazebo. The figurine shows quality craftsmanship and structurally well designed. I think it would hold its beauty and last for a long time. We like it. So do our visiting friends and relatives. I would recommend it.

LOVE this product!
I cannot get over how incredibly pretty this Rooster weather vane is! It's nothing short of stunning! It looks incredible on our newly built porch! We consider it to be the official crowning off of our new porch. My husband spent so much time building the porch on his own, we knew that it would take something special to top it off and give it a notch up in beauty. This was the item!
We live in the country of North Georgia and are surrounded by horse farms and tree farms, so having this proud rooster standing over us, just made it all the more special! He is without a doubt one of my MOST FAVORITE items that I've added to my home! I just love him!
He is WELL made and screams craftsmanship! I am EXTREMELY pleased with this choice -- word to the wise, he does NOT come with the mount, but the mount can be purchased directly from the maker at GoodDirections.com, or from HomeDepot.com.
