To determine the wattage needed to power the device we will first need to know the wattage rating of the device and the estimated time of use. Please reach out to support@grapesolar.com for assistance in sizing a system.
The 50W panels are foreign-made. Our 190W and 300W are our current domestic-made panels.
Yes you could if you purchase the right connectors
No, they are not. Our kits use industry-standard MC4-comparable connector types.
The battery specifications are: All batteries used for this system should be identical. Batteries must be deep cycle. Do not mix battery types or sizes. Do not mix old batteries with new batteries. Performance and charging anomalies can occur if types, sizes, or age of batteries are not identical.
It depends on the number of hours you run your stove, the months you need to run, and your location. Results vary. Contact Grape Solar support if you need help doing these kinds of calculations.
Should be able to if it's mostly sunny, and you don't run the Air Conditioner.
We recommend using the largest you possibly can, in other words, the largest terminals with the largest gauge wire that will fit in them.(copper stranded, of course). 2/0 or even 1/0. Using the largest size you can will ensure the resistance and voltage drop between the batteries is at the absolute minimum. That will give more even charging and discharge, more even battery wear, and better battery performance.
These panels are 50 watt polycrystalline panels. There are three of them included in this kit.
The optimum size battery bank is usually between 75 and 150ah of total capacity with this kit. If you go larger than that, be sure that you have enough solar energy available so the controller can bring your batteries into float no less than once per week. You may have up to 3 batteries with the same capacity, age, and manufacturer connected in parallel.
