How thick is the blade and how clean does it cut?
Asked by: CT
Blade is similar thickness to a kitchen bread knife. Cuts very cleanly if you are using it for mineral wool insulation.

Does this cut well on Fiberglasd batts/rolls?

Asked by: ptm
I wouldn't use it on fiberglass insulation. A non-serrated blade will cut better.

grip rite insulation knife

Bought one and it works well. Can I sharpen it? If so is there a special technique?
Asked by: Anonymous
This is a serrated knife and as such can be sharpened the same way a serrated bread knife is sharpened. Please use the appropriate sharpeners for serrated knives that are sold on the market today. Thanks for your question.
