Can more than one string be attached together? If yes, how many strings can be attached safely?
Asked by Amy March 6, 2021See previous answer-4 strings, assuming a 2 amp fuse in the cord plug end. Each string is approximately 60W total load 12 x 5w per bulb = 60w. Four strings of 60W would be a 2 amp load. 60W x 4=240 watts, 240w/120v=2 amps.

After months trying to figure it out, I finally found the correct replacement bulb info: G16.5 (size) E12 (base) 5W (wattage) - if you google "Globe light bulb G16.5 E12 5W" different options will pop up.

Can you buy replaceent bulbs?
Asked by Rooster October 2, 2020We've had these up outside for years, and it felt very wasteful to have to purchase an entire new string rather every time we needed replacement bulbs. After over a year of researching (I wish I was joking) including purchasing many incorrect size bulbs and eventually a half hour consultation with the lighting department at my local Home Depot, I *finally* found the correct replacement bulb for these (that I just received today)! I am writing this to help other/future lost souls like myself: the bulb size info on the box is unclear, and also incorrect (the bulb size is *not* G50). The correct replacement bulb size, which I purchased at another online retailer is (drumroll please).... G16.5 (size) Clear Globe (shape/color) E12 (base) 5W (wattage). They do not sell these replacement bulbs at Home Depot (which is absurd, since Hampton Bay is a Home Depot owned brand, but I digress). If you google G16.5 E12 5W globe light bulb your options will pop up.
