A: Yes it can. It also comes with toggle bolts to do so.
A: The maximum wattage allowed on the track and power feed is 2,400 watts. However, do not exceed the max amperage of the circuit breaker on the electrical circuit supply power to it. Good rule of thumb... 100 watts equals 1 amp.
A: Yes. I cut mine into all sorts of custom lengths. The end comes off and goes back on with a single screw.
A: The previous response is correct. I will add that it depends on how heavy the track heads are. Lighter ones will work fine. Heavier track heads may not make full contact on a wall mounted application. If wall mounting, mount the trach with the grooved side upwards so the 2 tab rail is on top.
A: There’s no reason physically you can’t do this. I believe it’s more of a safety issue. If a kid was to stick their fingers in these tracks there’s a possibility of danger. Keep away from easy access to kids and or water.
