Aha! Mine isn't the only unit that flashes during the night. At 2 AM it flashed six times. Twenty minutes later it flashed twice. I've noticed this happening sporadically over the past year. Still, it's a very convenient light. I have one near my dog's bed. When it lights in the middle of the night either she's up and needs to go outside, or the unit is malfunctioning. I'd buy a replacement and a couple of extras if I knew who was selling them. They're no longer on The Home Depot website. Anybody know where to find them?
I tried to purchase in store this week and it was not stocked at my Home Depot, however, the Home Depot personnel told me to look online. I did and placed my order and free shipping was offered. We really like the one that we have and I am ordering a second one to give to a family member because we like ours so much.
It is LED
Yes and yes
I have the same issue. Works great for me.
The angle is straight out and the range of the sensor is at least 20 feet.
I recommend exchanging the poorly functioning one.
It should shut off
About a minute
This light has to be plugged into a wall recepticle so yes it uses electricity
