Q:I still have power to my unit as the power light still light up, but the main light does not work. Is this unit fixable? I know it has a 3 yr warranty but I cannot find any record of buying it and I think its beyond the 3 years.

Bright, lightweight and never gets hot.
This a LED work light is light weight and puts out a lot of light for its size. It is well designed and not much assembly. You simply attach the base with one bolt. The light has a on and off switch on the top so it is easy to access it. The light will swivel 360 degrees and will angle up and down almost 360 degrees but the cord starts to get in the way at that point. As you can see by the photos, it does a good job of illuminating dark spaces. I had a halogen light before and I can tell you how many times that I would bump into it or try to adjust the angle and get burned. This one doesn't get hot. I also like the idea of the energy efficiency and never having to replace the bulb. This is much needed upgrade for me.

Light weight, bright, cool, and energy effecient
This portable square lenses LED work light is a good upgrade of the old standard halogen work light. It is cool running, you won’t get burned by it, and it is far more energy efficient. This light is rated at 1500 lumens, and produced a fairly bright light, but uses only 23 watts of energy. It is rated as 4000K bright white. While the 1500 lumens of light is about what a standard 100 watt bulb produces, I found it produces more than average light for its rating. It has a single on/off rocker switch that illuminates when the unit is plugged in. It comes with a five foot cord with a three prong plug, it is A/C operation only. Assembly is very easy, using a wing nut and bolt to attach the unit to the frame. The bolt is designed to attach to a tripod stand also, but the stand it not included. Assembled, the unit is about 9 inches high and weighs less than three pounds. The base provides a stable platform for the light, and the light can be swiveled up or down and side to side. It has a built in carrying handle on the top. The bulb is rated to last basically forever, and the unit has a three year warranty. Overall a very nice, economical, portable work light that provides ample light for most uses.

Great LED Portable Worklight
I definitely recommend the Husky 1500 lumen (100 watt equivalent) LED portable work light for the homeowner and professional. The LED light is super bright at 1500 lumens, is cool to the touch for safety and the integrated LED bulb never needs replacing. I like the sturdy base and easy swivel adjustment. A tripod base from Husky can be purchased separately. It comes with a 3 year limited warranty that covers defect in material or workmanship. It also has a sealed on/off switch and 5' cord with grounded plug. A great light and a great value.

Husky Work LED Lights Are Awesome! Come in 3 Different Power Levels Too!
One thing you do notice right away is the weight of the Unit. It is Sturdy! Well Made & of Metal not Plastic. They Do have Both Corded (Portable) & Uncorded (Rechargeable) Models available for your needs. I got the corded. The 3 different models are all different sizes 1500 Lumin being the Smallest one. I also got the 2500 Lumin Unit. Both units are a 4000k color Bright White & Yes they do put off a heck of a lot of light! Great Flood Light! They also have a nifty little "Nub or Nib" that allows you to attach to thee Not Included Light Bar, But the Light Bar is totally Awesome too. Also Very well Built & Very Sturdy! Great For the trades to light up the darkest buildings. Very Happy with units!

Lots of light from such a little lamp!
This review is for the Husky 1500 Lumen LED portable work light, model K40086, which I was given a chance to check out.
The lamp comes with a 5’ three pronged cord and, according to Husky, the LED bulb never needs replacing. The lamp comes with a 3 year limited warranty.
The lamp doesn’t come with the stand attached, but it is a single wing nut and bolt assembly and takes only a few seconds.
Husky advises using only three pronged outdoor rated extension cords, and a GFCI outlet when working in wet areas (GFCI – “Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter”) to avoid shock hazards. The switch is sealed and the lamp remains cool to the touch.
The output is rated at 23 watts, but is a 100 watt equivalent at 1500 lumens. This thing puts out a fair amount of light. See the attached photos – one of my basement with no lights on, and one with the lamp on.
The fit and finish are excellent and the build materials are first rate considering the market price for this lamp. The stand is metal, not plastic, and has protective feet to prevent scratching furniture and such.
This lamp is great for lighting up rooms for painting or for working in the garage. It’s light and has a built in hand grip and is easy to position.
It’s a really nifty little lamp – light weight, good quality, lots of light output. I’ve gotta admit I’ve become a bit of a fan.
A tripod is available separately, but I’ve not got one to test the lamp on. However, the base of the lamp is sturdy and I’ve had no problems in placing on my workbench, table saw, etc. The cord doesn’t overbalance the lamp.

Very bright light - great for working in a dark area
Sturdy, lightweight, bright light for a job that has to be done in a dark area. Assembly was easy once I noticed that the screw is specially shaped to fit into the U-shaped bracket. Before tightening the nut, make sure that the screw is fully seated. I am using this worklight to light a totally dark area in a basement, where the light that usually illuminates the area is being replaced. See photo taken with the worklight on in this completely dark room, and camera set for no flash. Problem solved.

Weak Stand
You definitely get what you pay for with this item. The Light attachment is flimsy and loose. You have to fully extend the legs in order for the tripod to sit firmly, otherwise the center pole hits the ground and the stand is tippy.
