6 in. Impact Socket Adapter Set (3-Piece)

We bought this 3-pack mainly just for the 1/2" socket adapter, and we bought a bunch of them expecting them to break. Using them with larger sized deepwell sockets of 3/4", 15/16" and 1-1/8", we were able to do some emergency sea wall repairs by adding some new fasteners before the wall came apart. The bit adapter was an essential part of the process to speed the nuts on and tighten them down with the Milwaukee Impact Driver. After two days of sporatic use, the first bit did shatter and we were so thankful that it broke off on the neck behind rhe socket head. This left lots of shank exposed to extract the remains and we are so thankful. We don't buy the Milwaukee branded ones because they are prone to break off inside the 1/4" chuck (and slightly twisted) becoming nearly impossible to extract or continue using the tool. The Husky ones broke perfecly (died from a hard and short life) and we will continue to use them. Oh, and they will probably work great and last longer for all the people out there that don't have to work them quite as hard. Thanks and God bless.

The inside was messy when opened, and after finishing, I found that a 22mm part was missing.Please send additional 22mm

I know these are not the top rated impact adapters by independent reviews, BUT, the price is right. Would I use them with a corded 1/2" impact hammer drill? No, but, they are fine with the Ryobi battery powered drill and 1/4" impact and stand up fine when removing old lag screws out of wood.

This was my favorite adaptor set. I was using my 1/2 today doing basic lags with an impact driver and impact socket and it snapped clean in half. I thought, " ok, I will just go to home depot and exchange for another one" That is exactly what i did, but not before having a fight with customer service. The woman at customer service said it was not covered under warrenty and that I needed to call Husky tools to exchange it plus I needed a reciept. I showed her where it said guarenteed forever, no reciept required, no questions asked, yet she still have me a hard time. After gettinga dvice from another associate, who led me in the direction of customer service and to ask for a manager, I got the product after another wasted 10 minutes. Home Depot, please educate your employees to know the warrenties and how to return products NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I am unwilling to purchase future products if this is the way I will be treated every time. I had my facts in order and in the correct manner and was still treated unfairly.

Worked as expected. It was helpful to have all 3 sizes because my socket set has multiple sizes and I needed to use various sockets for a project. I liked that there was a rubber holder to keep all 3 together so I reduce the chance of losing one.

Overall I think this is a great set of sockets, they look well made and the couple I tried had a good fit. The little set of common sockets with the extension is really nice. I wish the entire set was labeled like those were. Like others had mentioned, most the sockets are nice and shiny with the size etched on. The size is not real easily read however and would be an issue in poor light. There are about 6 different sockets in this set that are not shiny and are instead have the powder coating applied and not shined up at all. The issue is the sizes of these particular ones are very difficult to read. A couple of these ones were also very dirty/oily etc. that requited cleanup. This would be a all-star set if these few were better.

The Husky Impact Driver Socket Adapter set is outstanding. They, like the Husky Impact Sockets are manufactured of hardened, heat treated steel that is a requirement for use with impact driver tools. Standard sockets and adapters expose the user to risk of fracture, or even shattering when exposed to impact tool load forces, so these Impact Rated adapters and sockets are a necessity. The quality of the adapters appears to be excellent. Sockets “lock” onto the adapters just as they should, with a positive, secure fit. They are not showing any wear, and I have the impression that they are very durable and will last indefinitely. The oiled black oxide finish is very nice and durable. However, just in case one ever gets damaged, the Lifetime Husky Replacement Warranty is a terrific benefit! I’ve read that you don’t even need to bring your receipt in order to get a Husky tool replaced at a Home Depot store, however, I have never needed to replace any of the numerous Husky tools that I have purchased. They have all been very strong and durable, just like these socket adapters. This Impact Socket Adapter set is excellent, and I recommend it.

I would recommend this Impact Set. With 64 pieces included in this set, you have lots of options. Both SAE and Metric makes it easy to use on different jobs. The carry case is great. The set feels solid and strong. The set offers a lifetime warranty, which is great with any tool. 6 Point style of sockets helps with reducing the chance of rounding fasteners. Can be used with your impact drive tools. Large writing on each socket makes it easy to locate the tool needed.

This review is for the Husky 1/2 in. Drive SAE/Metric Impact Socket Set (64-Piece) Model # H64IMPS. These are six point impact sockets with thick walls which results in the set being approximately 27 pounds. The set includes 15 sizes of standard SAE sockets, 15 sizes of standard metric sockets, 15 sizes of deep SAE sockets, 15 sizes of deep metric sockets, two 1/2 inch extension bars, a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter and a 1/2 universal joint. The sockets feature two pin holes for secure retention. They have a black finish with stamped size markings. The sockets are well built and should last a lifetime but they carry a lifetime warranty in case you have any problems. My set had oil and burs on some of the sockets left behind from manufacturing. The oil also made the finish look uneven but once I wiped them clean they looked good. On some of the sockets I could feel a lip in the inside edge where a bolt would go. I don’t think this will impact fasteners fitting into the socket. In addition, I found some of the size stamping inconsistent. Some sockets it looked deep and easily readable and a few it looked shallow and not easily readable. The case is included and absolutely necessary for a set of this size. It has quality latches on the front that should last many years. It also has side latches to support the weight of the sockets and unfortunately, Husky chose to use cheap plastic latches that will absolutely break off after numerous open and close cycles. Each socket has a molded home in the set and the ones in the lid are tight to keep them from falling out. Overall this is a great set and highly recommended. I’m only giving it 4 stars because of the inconsistent size markings, oily surfaces, loose burs in the case and the cheap side latches.

It has everything from 3/8 up to 1-5/16 SAE and 13 - 27mm Metric in both standard and deep well sockets, Comes with 2 extensions, 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor, a universal joint, and a solid case to store it all in. The sockets are all marked with large writing and are very easy to read.
