Has anyone tried a cordless drill on it to speed up height adjustment? Just wondering if the keyless chuck will fit.

Asked by: Rick
Yes you can use a #10 hex attached to your drill. This will fit inside the hole. Just be careful when you get close to the top or bottom of the range so you don't jam, strip or break the gears.

Table is fairly solid, spartan and the ideal size for a work from home computer desk. I put the casters on it so I could move it around my house until I figured out the best location but found that at the lowest height to just barely be too tall when I'm seated. After reviewing advice & qa's I'll try switching from the casters to the leveling feet as I think this will give me the room I need for adjustments. The nicest thing about this desk is that it's narrow enough to fit through standard doorways sideways so I don't have to break it down to get it from room to room to get privacy for an e-meeting. At the peak height the table will wobble a little if you put any weight on the front but I rarely have it all the way up. Maybe that'll change after I switch the feet out, if so I'll update my comment. The raise lower function of it is nice to have but coming from a motorized desk makes me want to get a 10mm hex drive for my drill to make the Up adjustments. Cranking the table down takes very little effort.

Bought this work table a month ago to go with my wife's bar height craft and project work table. The adjustable height allows her to match work table height exactly for larger projects, or lower it and use a normal height chair. The wheels also allow her to easily reconfigure her set up from double wide, to L to T. Very versatile. And she loves the butcher block table top. Construction is very solid. Assembly is very quick. We may buy another. I would definitely recommend it.

I searched for a work table for several months before seeing this one on the Home Depot website and buying it a couple of weeks ago. Attributes I was looking for: (1) decent quality, (2) not too expensive, (3) crank height adjustment, (4) casters for mobility, (5) cross bar offset to the rear so I could use the table sitting down without it being in the way of my feet. This is the only one I've seen designed with all these features. It actually gives you the option of glides or casters and the option to install the lower crossbar centered or offset to the rear. Quality in my opinion is very good for the price, and assembly for me was quick and easy. It fits my needs almost perfectly. My only wish is that there were an option for a deeper top (maybe 30 inches instead of 24).

It was Sunday the help line was closed and I wanted to be DONE. Luckily I had one on hand and was able to rebuild the gear box and assemble.

If a 69 years old woman with a bad back and knees (like me) can assemble this heavy baby, then I’m pretty sure you can too. Lots of screws, but thankfully Husky made all the screws the same size—saved Me a lot of agony. The instructions are clear. Recommend not tightening down anything until after the last step of assembly. In order to get the second end of the adjustment rod in place, I took the easy way out and got my husband to steady that 2nd leg while I inserted the rod—A flashlight proved helpful in seeing the insertion spot. I was able to attach my massive old 28-inch long Alera Valencia keyboard shelf to the table, but got only 6 inches of available shelf space, however my keyboard is slim and I use a trackball, so this worked for me. Another nice feature of a heavy steel base like this table has, is that it’s a great place to anchor computer security cables. All in all, I’m very pleased—this was by far the cheapest alternative for an adjustable computer desk, and terrifically stable and solid!! THANK YOU HUSKY!

Had to actually go to purchase hardware to try to put the thing together. All the screws and bolts are metric so had to purchase them one at a time. The store did not have enough of the correct lengths so had to get washers as well. The crank handle was also missing. Filed a claim at the toll free number, received an e-mail but nothing as to what is being done to resolve. At some point I need the correct hardware to build the table correctly and be able to use the crank. I have not had good luck purchasing things and having them shipped to the store. Seems that I have had a run of bad luck.

Unlike a lot of people who bought this table, I am using it as a workbench. I added a bottom shelf and it holds all my tool bags. I also added 2 sliding shelves about 6" below the table top so I can place a lot of the things I'm using (ruler, pencil, drill, etc) and keep the workbench top free of clutter when I'm building something on it. The top is very solid, and the coasters let me easily move the table around. But the main reason I love this table is that it is very easy to adjust in height. I have used it as an infeed and outfeed table to my table saw, depending on what I'm doing. It is perfect because no matter where I'm working (garage or driveway), I can adjust the height to match my table saw! Highly recommend it.
