This wrench does the job. There is really no way I could have installed my new kitchen faucet without it. The new faucet had a metal 1 1/4 inch nut which is not all the common anymore but this wrench would also work with large plastic nuts that are more common nowadays. There was no way to get any other wrench into the narrow space I had to work in. So if you are working in a tight space save yourself a lot of aggravation and spend the $13. I also used the same wrench to loosen a large nut on my hot tub connections yesterday which would have been a real problem otherwise.

Slips off constantly
Very hard to get located onto the nut you are trying to adjust. Once you get it on, as soon as you start turning, it will slip initially until it bites with it's grip. If it grips, you are in a good spot so long as you can keep it reasonably still, but if you have to adjust the handle at all, it's off. Then it will be hooked on whatever is above or below it that's smaller (spring loaded jaw) and you have to put your hand in the gap, open the jaw and try to get it back on the nut. Bad design!

    Wouldn't work
It would not grab hold of the nut on supply line. I've never seen this type of wrench slip the way this one does. Taking back . They're all designed same way, so I not buying this brand again in basin wrench.
