      A:  This is all black plastic and the bolt and tightening head are designed for hand tightening. It is a clamshell design and the plastic bolt threads into the bottom (not visible) half of the clamshell.

      Garbage design. Because of where the pressure point is on the clap. They will only get so tight. If you start getting on them and really getting them tight. The clip will start duck billing and the end of clip starts opening up. Leaving less of the tarp in contact with the clips jaw......simply put RETURNED!!!!!
