Generally the only thing that goes bad with these HD brand framing nailer is the cylinder cap seal. It doesn't appear to be available therefore you won't need this trigger replacement. Save yourself some trouble and buy a new framing nailer. Buy something that has parts available like a well known brand name. it will cost more but it best to buy once and cry once!

      Good Gun for DIYers
Haven't used it for a job yet but it seems great when firing a couple of test nails. It is one of the lightest ones on the market from my research and it sure fires the nails home! It is quite loud when firing so should wear hearing protection. My only negative is it is a little harder to find nails for this gun. Our local home depot carries some but not all sizes and you may have to order online to get what you need.

It was the wrong one (metal) which Home Depot quickly resolved by sending me the correct one (plastic). Lasted a week after installation before it blew out again. So I at this point once again I am down a framing gun on the job.
