As America's favorite brand of reverse osmosis systems, and backed by iSpring’s industry-leading customer support, the RCC7 is unequaled in quality, performance, and durability. The system consists of 5-stage, layered filtration built around precision reverse osmosis (RO) technology that removes over 1000+ different kinds of contaminants in order to provide the best home drinking water filtration available. Unlike some other systems, the combination of both GAC and CTO filters in the 2nd and 3rd stages provides greater protection against harmful chemicals than CTO alone. It features a 75 gallon-per-day capacity RO membrane, which is larger than most in its class and provides the capacity to economically handle the drinking water needs of even a large family. The system is quiet and low maintenance. Replacement filters are standard sized and sold at factory direct pricing. Designed for do-it-yourself installation by most users, the entire system fits nicely under a standard kitchen sink. Installation is straightforward and all parts necessary for installation are included. You are guided by clear, well organized written instructions, instructional videos and access to iSpring’s unparalleled technical support.

Hi Butch, Yes you can install the system in the basement. The only requirement is that you would need to be within 15 feet from the system to the RO faucet or refrigerator to avoid any pressure loss in the lines. Thank you, iSpring Water Systems LLC

Great system, fast response to customer service.
Customer review from homedepot.ca logo
Our water smells like rotten eggs, our town is known for bad water quality. Before buying this product i contacted a plumbing company tot talk about our water. They warned us that even if a system was put in that our water could still retain the smell. So instead of an expensive experiment we tried something affordable. We were impressed immediately and use this system constantly. Instead of buying water in 10L jugs we now have a hose rigged to fill the bottles to use with our water dispenser. NO SMELL. We had a problem with our system constantly draining not more than 3 days ago. I contacted Don at their customer service department. He asked for our personal information and sent a part out immediately. Great customer service thanks Don. Great system, fast response to customer service.

The system is affordable and very simple to install and maintain. 75 GPD was plenty for my family and the unit fits well under my sink. Great Product! Neat clear cap for the sediment filter too.

Happy customer
I’d been meaning to install a drinking water filtration ststem for a while, and then when the Covid19 panic buying wiped out Drinking water supplies (ha ha and TP) in every store i decided, “nows the time”. I found the installation instructions easy to follow. Everthing is color coded to help get everything connected properly. I did it myself, it works great, doesnt leak, and we love having unlimited drinking water and we cut the cord from grocery store water bottles. I reached out with a question after registering my warranty, and founf them to be very responsive and helpful.

low quality product, disaster waiting to happen
This filter system does a good job filtering water while it's new. After 12 months and change of whole replacement filter system, it's showing sign of filtration is breaking down. That's not really the biggest problem until it started leaking and caused a flood under the sink. The plastic housing for the filter cracked and I had fixed it with a replacement housing. Then a few more months later the cap for the water filter cracked in the middle of the night causing another flood under the kitchen by the time it's discovered in the morning. The price maybe good but you're buying yourself a ticking disaster guarantee to fail 1 part or another.

Response from iSpring Water SystemsMay 18, 2020
Hi HandyDani

This is most likely caused by excessive incoming water pressure PSI if you are on a city water connection. This can be prevented easily with the addition of an APR70 pressure regulator we sell. Please contact the office at 678-261-7611 or support@123filter.com for assistance.

Thank you,

Good product and easy installation. I follow Ispring youtube video to put this on and it is very easy. Each stage was marked with different color lock and line so you cannot miss. Only thing I wish in this package is to give more on/off switch and more water line and accessories. And also I wish manual tells customer options and instruction when they have existed fridge line so it avoids later work. Overall it is great work!

My husband bought the drill bit size that was necessary and installed this unit himself. Through our QUARTZ countertop. I was a wee bit nervous. It went seamless and looks amazing! Pic to follow. So happy with it. No more buying water in jugs to get the great quality of Reverse Osmosis! Everyone comments on how yummy our water is!

We bought our unit in November 2016 from Home Depot. Easy to install. Now, May 2019, 2.5 years later and the top of the 1st Filter housing sprung a microscopic leak. It looks like the inside of the top plastic housing is cracked on the inside on two of the filter tops. Luckily we were home when the water started dripping onto or hadwood floors. Not sure if I want replacement parts or just get a new one. How to account for the top cracking?

The system was easy to install and the manufacturer has been very helpful; both before and after my purchase. The instructions need a little updating as the system seems to have changed just a bit since the instruction booklet was first written. But the differences are not critical. The filtered water quality is absolutely OUTSTANDING! For us, the most noticeable change was having the chlorine taste disappear. Note: although the instructions recommend that, in case you decide to mount the filter unit on a wall, you should provide support under the filter cases to offset the strain on the plastic threads from the weight of the water inside. Compared to the strain from the water pressure, which I estimated to be about 400 lbs (four square inches of bottom area X 50 PSI water pressure) I think you can safely ignore that recommendation. (At the time of this review, we have been using the unit about two weeks.)
