Answer This Question

A:  No...just lights up when there is current.

A:  Thank you for your question. No, the amount of voltage will not display anywhere on the device. This device is meant to identify whether voltage is present. Depending on whether voltage or ground is present, a red or green LED light will illuminate.

A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, attach the Test Light clamp to the negative side of the battery or any good chassis ground. With the tester’s probe, touch the desired fuse, terminal, or wire you want to check. The LED will illuminate when Voltage/Power is detected. High Volts will cause the LED to illuminate brighter; low Volts will cause it to illuminate dimmer. When checking for Voltage, the tester will illuminate Red. For ground, the tester will illuminate Green.

High quality and sturdy. I really like the ground cable clamp as it works very well when trouble shooting. The cable is substantial and test light is visable and works especially well.
